Privacy Policy

This policy was created on February 2, 2009, and amended on November 23, 2009.

We take your privacy seriously and we are committed to safeguarding it. This Privacy Policy governs our information collection, use, and disclosure practices in accordance with the Spanish Organic Law 15/1999 on the Protection of Personal Data and Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce.

Information Collected
We collect information from you when you register on the site, enter a contest or promotion, place an order, respond to a survey or communication such as e-mail, or participate in another site feature. This personal information can comprehend your name, email address, postal address, daytime and/or mobile phone number, birth date, gender, preferred language and any other personal or preference information that you freely enter.
You may, however, visit our site anonymously or purchase without registering. You will then be asked only for information necessary to process the transaction. In that case it will be retained only as necessary to process the transaction and maintain our sales records and will not be used for marketing purposes. The same principle applies to any gift or rebate voucher, they can be redeemed anonymously and without the need of registering.
When ordering products you can choose to pay by credit card, in which case you will be redirected to the website of our payment provider to execute the payment, we will not collect sensitive credit card information in the process.

We receive and record information from your computer and browser, including your IP address, software and hardware attributes, and the pages and information you request. And we receive a confirmation when you open emails from us if your computer supports such capabilities. This data may be combined with personal information you have provided. Finally, we may receive information about you from other sources and add it to our account information.

Do we use "Cookies"?
Yes, like many websites. They are actually necessary to make full use of our website so we recommend that you don’t turn them off. A cookie is for example necessary to allow customization and purchasing of your backpack. They can also be used to track your activity and understand your preferences. This helps us to improve your shopping experience. Specifically we use Google analytics to better analyze browsing behavior and to receive marketing assistance. The tracking data is sent to Google’s servers in the United States of America.

However, non-personally identifiable visitor information in aggregate form may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

Update or Removal of Information
You have access and control over most of your personal information through the profile settings when you are logged into your account.

Upon your request, we will delete all your personal data from our files. In case that you have purchased products from us, we would keep a copy of the individual sales for record keeping. This information does not contain credit card details. Please login to see the link.

To modify your e-mail subscriptions or completely opt-out of receiving newsletters, please let us know by modifying your preferences in the settings area. We reserve the right to send you a notice if special circumstances demand it even if you opt out of all voluntary email notifications.

We do not sell products for purchase by children. If you are under 13, you may use our site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Our business changes constantly and our Privacy Policy might need to be adapted. In case material changes are necessary, we will additionally notify you by email and the changes will only take effect after 30 days of their posting on this site. Unless stated otherwise, our current Privacy Policy applies to all information that we have about you and your account.
