About SEIZ

In 2008 when our paths crossed in Madrid, we started a discussion about the perfect urban backpack. We quickly realized that every backpack user has their own needs and therefore they should play a major role in the design of what shall become their reliable, practical and fashionable daily companion.

Coming from Zurich, Paris, New York and Buenos Aires we endorse modern lifestyle and bring together a great melting pot of experience in technologies, engineering and design which we believe are the necessary ingredients to create the pack you desire.

We launched SEIZ in 2009 with the goal to redefine how you use your backpack as it accompanies you trough the city. Have a newspaper handy, protect your sunglasses in a special compartment, recharge your mobile phone or your podcast player, carry something precious in a secret pocket or simply protect your laptop - you are the one that best knows what you need – your possibilities are our passion - choose your path.

Key people

Marco Seiz

The Visionary – Earned his engineering degree from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology with a master theses in autonomous mobile robotics. He worked in various engineering fields including five stimulating years on a formula 1 team. His passion is making things work efficiently and developing quality – it’s no surprise that he loves electronic gadgets.

Julien Guardiola

The Insider – Received his degree in business and management from a French Business school. While working for a Californian backpack company he found his vocation in the sports good industry where he specialized in marketing & sales. He is a true entrepreneur intrigued by the development of innovative business concepts.

Daniel Julier

The Designer – He graduated from Zurich University of the Arts where he studied industrial design. His challenge is to bring ideas to life through emotional yet practical design. Always on the lookout for the best possible user experience, his motivation is the prospect of finding simple, natural solutions.
